Why Double Swing Matters in Diablo 4 Season 15 with U4GM
Fast swings are only useful if each hit earns its place. In this proposed Season 15 Double Swing Barbarian setup, weapons do much of that work, so comparing D4 items starts with their interactions rather than their headline damage. Infinity supplies the suggested two-handed foundation, while Strength and Holy Thunder round out the weapon package. The aim is straightforward: combine frequent hits with Crushing Blow, useful skill ranks, and recovery. Don't assume those effects all stack as expected, though. Test the setup against a durable target before spending your best materials.Keep Fury spending above the threshold
The less obvious priority is making Double Swing expensive enough. This setup pairs Ring of Red Furor with Splinter of Hellfire, using guaranteed critical strikes to offset Hellfire's critical chance penalty. Double Swing's stated base cost of twenty Fury falls short of the ring's thirty-Fury requirement. Splinter of Anguish and Nomad Longing Heart are intended to push it past that line. Check the actual cost after equipping everything. Multiplicative increases of thirty percent and twenty-five percent would produce 32.5 Fury, not exactly thirty-two. Trigger timing matters too: spending Fury and empowering the next attack aren't necessarily the same event.
Priority What to check
Fury cost Stay above the stated thirty-Fury requirement.
Critical strikes Confirm which attack receives the guaranteed hit.
Weapon effects Test their contribution separately.
Choose equipment that preserves the interaction
A tempting upgrade can still make the build worse. Resource cost reduction is the obvious trap here, since it could pull spending below the intended threshold. The supplied equipment plan favors Sichron over Crucible for that reason. Twin Strikes fills the glove slot, while Tibault's Will offers an offensive option with Fury support. If you're repeatedly dying during crowded fights, defensive trousers deserve consideration instead. Earthstriker footwear belongs in the discussion only when your actual weapon swaps activate its effect consistently. An impressive description won't rescue an awkward rotation.
Make the rotation comfortable
Dust Devils give Double Swing room coverage, but positioning still matters. Step into a pack, establish your defenses, then keep attacking without chasing every scattered enemy. Polearm Expertise and the Challenger glyph are proposed supporting choices; their value depends on the effects available in your version. Don't treat critical strikes and Overpower as interchangeable, either. They're separate mechanics, so reliable critical hits alone don't establish permanent Overpower.
Check Fury spending after each equipment change.
Test recovery during longer encounters.
Adjust defenses before sacrificing a working rotation.
Spend on the missing piece
Before you buy cheap D4 items, identify what's actually holding the character back. Perhaps Fury runs dry. Perhaps defenses collapse between shouts. Fix that problem first. Treat the stated Pit Tier 135 and Torment XII performance as targets to evaluate, not results every version of the equipment will automatically reproduce.
